Now Accepting Applications!  We are excited to open the nominations for the Best-in-Network award to be announced at the New Tech Annual Conference in St. Louis, Missouri! We are more than excited to see the hard work, creativity, and design that NTN educators put into every project.  This year we will invite the winning facilitator(s) to present the winning project as an NTAC session along with two students to collaboratively present the winning project with their teachers! The winning facilitator (and one co-facilitator if applicable) will also be awarded free NTAC conference registration and NTN will also cover the cost of travel for two students (each with a chaperone as required). Award Submission Timeline:Window to submit your application: January 9th, 2017 – February 24th, 2017Project review period: March 2017Finalists contacted: mid-April 2017 Want to nominate someone else’s great project?Do you know of a great project your peer is facilitating down the hall? Are you a student who wants to remind your teacher of a project that taught you a lot? Are you a director or coach wanting to highlight the great work happening at your school?  While the submission ultimately needs to come from a facilitator, anyone can nominate a facilitator to submit using this nomination form! That teacher will receive an email letting him/her know that you believe in their project and nudging him/her to submit for the award!Want to submit your own great project?To submit, complete this application form including the following items:A video self-assessing your project using the 6 As rubric. Briefly describe any project components as evidence of your self-assessment. This video should be no longer than 5 minutes, is meant to be casual, and should be submitted as a youtube link.Project ArtifactsFor secondary, please provide a link to your project in the NTN Echo Community. Teachers need to submit a reference code for their project shared with the Echo Community. This project should include student work samples, rubrics, and any other pertinent evidence to demonstrate an exemplary project learning experience. For elementary, please provide a link to your collected project materials in a google document. This document should include student work samples, rubrics or appropriate assessment tools, and any other pertinent evidence to demonstrate an exemplary learning experience.Additional selection committee requests as they arise. Questions?
